Beit Hesed operates as a small team of dedicated and professional staff. We offer a rapid and flexible response to care requirements.
We work closely with other communal organizations and receive referrals from many different sources such as Hesed Shpiro and care coordinators in various synagogues.
We send paid carers (most of whom are Jewish) to look after our patients; some of them have little or no family support.
We rely heavily on the generosity of the community, organizations and people who cannot stand suffering of Jewish people.
We are providing over 160 clients of care and companionship with thousands hours of attention.
Unfortunately, many of our patients cannot afford the full cost of living and medical support. We depend entirely on donations from the wider community to carry on this vital task.
